Why Cordova Residents Train with H2O Scuba Center

Learning to scuba dive is an exciting adventure, but it requires thorough safety preparation and quality instruction. At H2O Scuba Center, we focus on building genuine water comfort rather than rushing students through quick assembly-line classes.

1. Flexible Home Study & Hands-On Pool Practice

Our SSI digital learning system allows Cordova students to complete reading assignments, watch training videos, and complete knowledge reviews from home on any mobile device or tablet. Once your academics are complete, you'll meet our instructors in our heated pool to practice mask management, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and air-sharing protocols.

2. State-of-the-Art Rental Equipment Fleet

You don't need to purchase a full set of scuba gear right away. We supply all heavy scuba equipment—including buoyancy control devices (BCDs), balanced dive regulators, pressure gauges, dive computers, tanks, and weights—for all student courses. Every piece of equipment in our rental department undergoes routine inspection and servicing by certified technicians.

3. Direct Pathway to International Dive Travel

Diving isn't just a class—it's a gateway to travel. Once certified, Cordova divers can sign up for our organized dive trips to world-class marine destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. We handle all boat bookings, hotel accommodations, and guided dive routes so you can focus entirely on enjoying your vacation.
